Advocate-Sexual Assault

Under the direct supervision of the Family Services Program Director, the Sexual Assault Advocate works with survivors of sexual assault to provide supportive and impactful services.

 

Job Description

  • Part Time Position (up to 15 hours/week plus on-call)

  • Starting Hourly Wage $15-$17

  • Sick and Vacation Time Available


Duties & Responsibilities

  • General oversight of the Agency’s sexual assault program

  • Program coordination with local hospitals

  • Assists client with attaining goals and safety planning (TPO application, VOCP applications, local funding applications, and appropriate resources and referrals)

  • Assist in compiling statistical and narrative reports as requested.


Qualifications

  • High school Diploma/GED required.

  • Competency in Google based systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) preferred.

  • 40 hours of Victims Assistance Training (VAT) within 30 days of employment
