Board of Directors

Tara Addeo
President, Serving Since 2015

Tara is a 30 year resident of the Carson Valley and raised three daughters here with her husband of 43 years, Ed. They also have two granddaughters aged 15 and 2 years old. She’s immeasurably connected to this valley and shows her support of its resident in many ways. In addition to serving as FSC Board President, she’s the board chair for Carson Valley Medical Center Foundation, former president of Families for Effective Austism Treatment, and former president of Main Street Gardnerville. Our organization is so fortunate to have such a passionate and committed woman at the helm.

Brittany Johansen

With over a decade of demonstrable success leading mission driven teams for nonprofit organizations, Brittany brings to the board competency serving diverse populations, efficacy in programming, and effective strategies for inspiring direct service teams. Raised here in the Carson Valley, Brittany joined FSC to give back to the community she grew up in. She has become a true champion of the individuals serving our worthwhile mission.

Sharon O’Keefe
Treasurer, Serving Since 2020

Sharon comes to us with a degree in Tax Accounting and Business, ready and fit to serve as our Treasurer. She has devoted over two decades of her life to education and begins her final year of teaching at Coleville High School. Following the height of the pandemic and a shift in agency culture, she brings excitement and a fresh perspective that our agency is perfectly primed for.

Gina Zink
Secretary, Serving Since 2017

Gina is the director of the outpatient clinic division at Carson Valley Medical Center and oversees primary care practices in the Carson Valley along with CVMC specialty clinic services. Since CVMC provides care to patients regardless of their insurance status, Gina is no stranger to service. Not only does she coordinate needed medical connections for clients of FSC, but she’s been passionately serving the board since 2017.

We are so grateful for our law enforcement officers in Douglas County! It is an honor and pleasure to welcome Joe Duffy aboard the Family Support Council team.
